EL GAMMA PENUMBRA, ARNEL PINEDA, KUH LEDESMA, RADHA, ZSAZSA PADILLA and MANY MORE for FORBES GLOBAL CEO CONFERENCE 2015

If you happened to be a billionaire, have an extra 8000 dollars in your pocket and got an hour to spare, you may ask a production crew of like around 300 people to set-up an all-new stage for you and tell them to book the Philippines' top performers like the Powerful Radha, the Divine Diva ZsaZsa Padilla, Asian Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma, Journey's lead singer Arnel Pineda and First Ever Asia's Got talent Grand Winner El Gamma Penumbra to make sure you are lively entertained. And no, having 8000 dollars is not even enough, you have to be really influential and have to be from the leading business sectors of the world and should pass Forbe's parameters first.  And yes, it is fine if you guys were just around 40 or less as long as you can pay all the bills, your accommodation and your own bills.

We were so lucky to be part of the convention and be part of Miss Zsazsa Padilla's entourage. But you know things were always busier backstage so I did not have a chance to mingle with some of the world's 1%. I could have had a selfie with Facebook's Eduardo Saverin, GrabTaxi's Anthony Tan or Arisons Investments' David Arison and soul search a bit. LOL.

The show also enlisted Buganda, Danoy and Makiling to accompany each performance. Check what I saw backstage.

N O W P L A Y I N G Sam Smith's Writings on the Wall from James Bond Spectre

And fresh from the upcoming installment of the latest James Bond film Spectre, we have the soundtrack entitled Writings on the Wall. It was sung by no other than Sam Smith with his sultry and emotionally-charged vocals. The music video is as cinematographic as the trilogy itself. I love how the film was made still state-of-the-art and posh and still the action theme was still intact. The sexuality of Sam's voice just gave us a taste of the upcoming sensual scenes in film which is a constant. Time to overuse the play button once again.

Watch the music video below.

DIREK PAUL SORIANO FOR NEUROBION PHILIPPINES: Behind the scenes

A photo posted by Jernih Agapito (@jernihagapito) on

It is my pleasure to be part of the newest Neurobion Philippines' Digital Ad Campaign. After approximately 2 months, I am very excited and thrilled to see the result. It was my very first time to witness how a commercial was made. Well, I've been auditioning and attending casting calls because being on-cam is my thing and my goal, but the farthest I got was final screenings. Though, I was still feeling lucky to be part of it as a stylist off-cam because it gave me ideas on how to move once I got my projects already in the future. #claimingit #fingerscrossed. Thanks to my good friend Philip Malala who tagged me along for an extra hand. I am so happy that he is now doing what he really wants.

Another thing which made this experience unforgettable was that we were able to style and work with Director Paul Soriano who just got married with TV Host/Actor Toni Gonzaga. He was so kind for letting me do a mini-interview in the dressing room while we were waiting for his next frame. I must say that he was inspiring and that he deserves what he has right now. For just a small conversation, he was able to share values to me which I think other people must know as well. You may check the video on the latter part of this post. I know, you are welcome. :)

As for Philip and I, you may check what we have done in between sets, eating, styling, palying, posing and eating on and on and on. I just love commercial projects already. LOL

STAR MAGIC BALL 2015 BEST DRESSED

Just when the fashion month is starting in New York, ABS-CBN's Annual Star Magic Ball 2015 gave us some fix for the season's freshest trend. Of course, everybody would try their very best, but only few will surely stand. Here are the list of the best-dressed attendees to this year's ball.

Maria Venus Raj, covering the red carpet. Everyone in the room should envy her almost perfect human form.

#BEYDAY, A WORLDWIDE HOLIDAY FOR THE GODDESS WHO IS BEYONCE

There is one quotation in my life which up to right now I follow and I mean very earnest to my heart. The very guide to my life and whole-being.

Always be yourself, but if you can be Beyonce, Be Beyonce!

Explanation: Because BEYONCE. End of story

Now let's all summon the spirit that made us all kneel down to the only Queen B.

All the following performances were live and I think it is best to judge a singer via their live performances.

Even before, she have shown the world that she could still perform flawlessly in any form of harsh environment or situation like hair-stuck-in-a-fan or around a flaming stage.

TODD SNYDER SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Seeing Todd Snyder's collection makes me watch it so closely. Like, just look at his line-up of models, just gorgeous. The looks were oozing with masculine sex appeal and the casting did not fail to bring the story to the next level. Sexy, clean and complete, Todd Snyder.

TIM COPPENS SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

I am always a fan of clean details and tailoring and this collection kinda gives me "ART". You know that cliche, when Art and Fashion collides. Tim Coppens gave it a cool try for the streets. The pieces were young and fresh. Colors were also there and something you can try for the Summer till it last.

ROBERT GELLER SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

I can not explain it but something makes me want to wear these pieces without thinking twice. I can imagine wearing these on my trip to Thailand and ride an elephant. Or, aboard a small boat and see what's around the small islands of El Nido, Palawan. The colors perfectly match the blue ocean or the virgin forest, the red sandy desert or the grey rocky mountains. Each moment will surely be editorial with Geller's design.

RICHARD CHAI SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

I love it every time Western materials get an Oriental twist. Richard Chai just warped the formal wear into this street-ready look. It has been happening around the fashion corner but Chai has another version for us to see. Gone are the days of super fitted clothes and say hello to baggy and loose pants. Wearing the collection would make me feel like I am in the streets of Harajuku or Seoul.

OVADIA & SONS SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Talk about sleek and crisp details on styling. Ovadia & Sons definitely brought the game of normcore to the next level. It is so delighting to see white pieces paired with denim during summer. Not to mention, the leather jackets and coats when the temperature goes cool. There you have it, ensembles to keep you cool while waiting for the Autumn-Winter shows.

N. HOLLYWOOD SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Minimalism to the core, this is what N. Hollywood's latest collection is all about. Also, some pieces did not escape some hints of color because of summer. Another interesting feature of the clothes were its clean to asymmetrical silhouettes. The designs still ended up very masculine even though there are unconventional elements used. I just loved it whenever I see a monochromatic black or white ensemble head to toe.

MICHAEL BASTIAN SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Michael Bastian gave us a complete look from day-time to night scene. The pieces were very RTW and very wearable. There are also mixes of casual and formal elements. Some models include familiar faces like the uber-gorgeous Chad White and Sebastian Sauve.

CONAMS-CHELLA RUNWAY COMPETITION: CONAMS ACQUAINTANCE PARTY 2015

And so  I was tapped to direct the Runway Competition in the recently concluded C.O.N.A.M.S. Acquaintance Party 2015 with its theme-implicating title "CONAMS-chella." I could not help but notice the fascinating sense of style most of the students have who attended the event. I must admit that I was impressed and up to right now, my hometown, Cabanatuan City, keeps surprising me. It made me more proud of my hood. I could not wait to work again with such young and beautiful people soon and show my friends what Nueva Ecija could offer.

JOHN VARVATOS SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

John Varvatos has been the rockiest this Spring-Summer show. His collection was full of that Rock Star attitude ready for a head bang. The striped coats and pants, finished with slim neckerchief around the neck were just effin' hot. The pieces were show-ready and if you want to rule the night out, you should opt for these Varvatos'.

BILLY REID SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

What I like about this collection was its feeling of being relaxed. It is something I can imagine me wearing from house off to somewhere. Summer has been a little bit longer and these looks will definitely keep you extra fabulous. Billy Reid's unpredictable pieces, mixed and matched will surely make you pop among the crowd without even trying.

ALEXANDRE PLOKHOV SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

The collection is like a fusion of sports gear and casual street-wear. The athletic-feel of the fabric used just went cool producing pieces meant for street-wear. Spornsexuals rejoice for Plokhov gave us a new game plan for his latest collection from New York. You can definitely feel the energy from the design's silhouettes and materials like zippers used to finish it. P.S. I love the red ensemble.

TOMMY HILFIGER SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Here's another classic from New York. Tommy Hilfiger has been reinventing its signature dapper look every time and giving its piece with a modern take, keeping it updated and young. The brand is very American and continuously influenced the world with its aesthetics.

POLO RALPH LAUREN SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Polo Ralph Lauren has been known for its preppy and clean look. Something very smart and casual. If the clothes would be a person, it would be your ideal guy from the university. For its Spring-Summer collection, we can see some ensemble which could be worn in a day function this summer and also something athletic for guys who are into fitness.

MICHAEL KORS SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

If Michael Kors wanted to tell us something, that would be to get out there, have an adventure and be fashionable. The collection is travel-ready and will surely suit your next destination. What a wonderful way to enjoy your trip and keep the art of style in mind. Kors' sales must have been not so pretty recently but the taste of luxury is still definitely there.

DUCKIE BROWN SPRING-SUMMER 2016 / NEW YORK

Here are some looks from the latest collection of Duckie Brown in New York. While it is still summer, you can still draw some inspiration from the pieces which are mostly sheer and loose. The clothes will certainly keep you cool and street-ready. The looks are also somewhat androgynous because women could also enjoy the pieces as much as men.

More to come from New York's Men Fashion Week while we wait for September.

G O | S E E Wherever There is A Sun is Home

I can't recall how many times I have worn this trunks. Anyway, it still fits like gloves and in mint condition. Just in time for a swim.
