PINTA | National Museum of the Philippines

On this last half of my post about my recent visit to the National Museum, you will be seeing photos of various paintings which were housed on a separate building. Yes, you have to cross a major road to see these beautiful paintings and wait for massive ten-wheeler trucks to pass by before you cross so you would not die. Rajie and I tried to find any pedestrian lanes but we just could not see one.

ARTIPAKTO | National Museum of the Philippines

Just in case you did not know, National Museum of the Philippines is giving us all free entrance for this month of May in celebration of National Heritage Month. And so, as a fan of anything free in the world and of course, as a fan of anything Filipino, I decided to go and visit Pambansang Museo for the first time. I do not know why I just went here this month after all these years. Maybe, it is too far from my province... or because there is an entrance fee? LOL. But on a more serious note, it would be a shame if you will really let an opportunity of visiting our country's National Museum slip away. Especially now, this month, that it's free.

THE 1st NCCA READY-TO-WEAR CLOTHING DESIGN COMPETITION PRESENTED BY THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS

This is somewhat a late post but the cause of this event will never, and should never go out of style. As part of celebrating Design Week Philippines, NCCA organized its first ever RTW Clothing Design Competition and opened Professional and Student category. My designer friend Jairus Sumineg get to participate and I get to represent him on the awarding ceremony. We were so lucky to take part on the event which promulgate and educate the public about the diverse textile designs and patterns the Philippines have.
