You know what they say, "Birds of the same feathers are the same birds", nah, just kidding. I'm just making fun out of that old saying. Well, I'm not really into photography and my skills weren't that professional. But I love the fact that I could capture any moment and make me ponder on some time in the future. I am also obsessed with black and white photos because I think they are dramatic and can do no wrong; that's why if you would notice my posts, they are majorly BW. Of course, I haven't shoot all of these photos. We just love to pass the camera around and do some not-so-random-modelling, LOL. It is our form of bonding, hence, I conclude that we are really of the same feathers.

"Forefront Backstage" - Fashion Ability 2013 BTS
So here you will see what I am preparing for months. My collection and my body. Of course, what Jairus is also preparing for Fashion Ability (FA) 2013. We are once again selected to showcase our collection in FA 2013 with the presence of Forefront Models. Additionlly, we are so lucky that we had the chance to meet and collaborate with up and coming Accessory Designer Herminio Tan, Jr. of Hermitism. The collaboration made the show fresher and edgier for the whole city to see for sure.

Baguio's Best (so far)
So here are the photos from the recently concluded SM Department Denim Festival months ago. Yeah I know, I brewed the photos so much. Well, I'm not having any motivation to post anything lately. Until now that there will be again a PFW in SMX Convention Center at MOA. I really hope there would be a good show and reviews this season besides that of not-so-new-tactic-of-importing-international-celebrities-just-to-make-a-hype-on-their-labels like David Gandy for SM . I hope there wouldn't be designer-copy-cat-issue and that everybody will be safe and sound.

It Has Vigan
It's been a busy month for me. Finishing my baby collection for Fashionability 2013 and planning shoot for my new model set card and other things in between. So since im done with the shoot and almost half-done with my collection, I think it's time for a new blog post. Another reason was that, our computer's memory storage is decreasing that's why I need to dispose some pictures after posting them online.

The Suso Beach
Yes, you've read it right. It is The Suso Beach. Quite malicious at first, I got to agree that the name kinda excite me at first because I thought that it's a sort of a nude beach. Well, that's quite not-so-happening-in-the-Philippines right now. As my readings are concerned right now, the beach got its name from the mountain ranges around it which resembles breasts or "suso" in Tagalog.

Arya Abra
That's right, I've been in Abra.. I know that most of you would stereotype the province to be violent and politically-controversial but give the humble place a chance. It's not happening all the time and as we can see, it only peaks during election seasons. It's nice having friends this far because it's giving me chance to know more about other provinces aside from mine. All was well during my trip. In fact, it's not my first time here already for I used to have my clinical duties here in Abra. Most of the pictures below were just around my friend's house and all the bums in between for there are few itineraries that day.

Of Pots, Flowers and Family Jewels
It's my second day at Ilocos Sur and Nina has been so kind to me for interchanging her shift in order to accompany me to other places here. We've been at Burnayan or the pot factory where you can buy some clay pots and ornamental materials made of clay. We've been also at The Hidden Garden for our snack. There is a restaurant in its middle part surrounded by variety of plants from fruits to flower-bearing type which they are also selling. We also had a quick stroll at The Heritage Site to buy some souvenir stuff. Lastly, to Vigan Cathedral and have some prayers before I leave going to Abra.

Ylocos Sur's Saving Grace
Hello Sunshine! So these are the photos I've had during my first day roaming around in Ilocos Sur, mainly in Vigan City and Bantay. At last, I had the chance to step and walk through the Heritage Site. I remembered that the first time I saw it wasn't the my first time I've been there which makes it quite uncommon.
Anyway, please give me a break because I am really fascinated on the Spanish Colonial designs fused with other oriental and western elements still present along the antique alley. The movement to maintain and protect its natural form is something I really adore from the government.
Aside from the Heritage site, Nina and Mika brought me to the Vigan Cathedral which is equally rich in terms of designs which also signify that strong bond between the Filipino values and Catholicism. Same as in Bell Church in Bantay, it's beautifully old and it speaks for its many graceful years that has passed. I also took these chance to reflect and give thanks to all the blessings and strength that I had in the past. I even prayed for the result of the recent NLE which we had on June 2013 to be very, very fortunate for me and the people I know who wanted it to turn good too.

Meet the Frio and the Rosario Family
This post is dedicated to the Family Frio and Rosario who accommodated me during my stay in Ilocos Sur. I decided to post this separately from the others because I want to tell you more about these family. It would also make this post so long if I will include all the photos we've had that day.
They are a very hospitable type of a Filipino family. It is also very timely that Mica's mom, Dra. Rosario would be celebrating her birthday and I got a chance to meet the Rosario Clan as well. And most importantly, the celebration gave me a chance to smother on some literally FRESH seafood and vegetable buffet which is my favorite. Healthy lifestyle huh?
Included in this post are some of the treats and happenings in between.

The Best Halo-Halo for me so far
This post is about Halo-halo de Iloko found in City of San Fernando, La Union. It's my third time here already and their food is still good and authentic. I suggest that you drop by and have some break here if you'll ever be going to La Union or just crossing it. Then after a good snack which we considered as dinner already, me and my friends part ways already and I headed to the North at Ilocos Sur. I'll be uploading more pics of that trip soon.

Humble San Gabriel
Actually, I separated this part from my previous post because I think it's too long already and it might bore you guys. Anyway, it's more pictures of San Gabriel which according to Mae is now a Class III municipality. I really don't know what it means exactly but I know for sure that it is something good for San Gabriel because it is a status of having progress. Mae is so informed regarding this because her dad is a Municipal Councilor. I really adore how humble and warm their family is knowing that her dad holds a position in the Municipal Level unlike others.

Alluring Lon-oy Spring
Since Irene and I weren't able to make it earlier the previous day, we were still happy that we still have somewhere to go this day. Our hometown girl Mae will bring us to Lon-oy Spring where majority of nearby town's fresh water supply is coming from. There will be a little walk compared to the Tagadian's almost-an hour-hike.

To the North Going La Union
It's been awhile since my last blog for I've been in a week-long vacation. And maybe, (well, for sure), I am pretty sure that I'll be sharing my trip's photo in the succeeding days while waiting for the June 2013 NLE Result. Basically, like my first day was a day-long travel up to the town of San Gabriel, La Union because I came late for our call-time as usual and have to travel a little late that day. So, Irene and I wasn't able to come with the rest of our friends to the Tangadan Falls, one of the falls San Gabriel is known for.

PURPLIN'
Partying almost every weekend is something I and some of my friends definitely missed through our latter years in college. Since, we just graduated and finished taking the boards already, why not party again just like the good-but-not-so-old times. So after months of hectic preparation, we go Purplin'.
